Do you want to be successful in business or whatever you do in life?

First of all, you need to define success.

Success…what does that exactly mean for you?

The definition is different for everyone.

For many it is money, a certain dollar amount they want to achieve.

We all love money for a multitude of reasons whether they be self serving or altruistic.

Unfortunately, it is what makes the world go around.

For some, it is a feeling or a sense of accomplishment.

As a woman I can speak for myself and say that was a huge part of why I wanted to succeed in this business.

I had simply lost myself, I was someone’s wife and mom and felt I no longer had an identity and no one even knew my name anymore, they just knew me as a so and so’s mom and Quintin’s wife.

I struggled with this because being a wife and a mom were my passion.

I just needed some validation that what I was doing was of value.

Even though, I knew I was doing the work I was created to do I never doubted what I was doing was the most important job ever.

After all I was the “perfect” wife and I was able to keep my 4 monkeys alive and well. Haha!

Ok, enough about me, back to my list…

Another reason, people are tired of looking at the clock, they want more out of life than the rat race they are in and want to own their own time.

Once you have defined your success the next step is working towards it.

Do you feel that some are destined for success where others are destined for failure?

Why do you think that it is?

The ones that find success are the ones that have a clearly defined reason WHY they do what they do.

Have you really thought about what your WHY is?

Your reason WHY is what will get you through those tough days that you just want to throw in the towel. It reminds you of why you do what you do.

Then they have mapped out a plan… a strategy, implemented systems, and work with intention on a daily basis to get there.

Nothing is going to stop them!

In contrast, those who seem to fail or wander around never finding the success they desire is because they have simply never figured out what that means to them.

They look to others to define what only they can truly define for themselves. If you have defined it and are not finding the success you desire, it also may be that you do not have a plan.

You are not working with clearly defined goals that are attainable and short term. These short term goals are the building blocks to dreaming big and achieving those sky high goals.

Remember knowing your WHY and having a plan does nothing without ACTION. You are dreaming too big and working too little. If you have big dreams it requires BIG work.

So now you have defined your success…you have a plan…now here is the hardest question that only you can answer.

How bad do you want it?

Are you willing to work your tail off for very little to have the faith in a bigger dream?

You are the only one that will be able to answer that and the only one that will be able to put that into action.

Not your husband, not your kids, not your upline, not your family not anyone but you.

Read that again because this is a turning point for many.

Many figure out their why, have a plan and then never execute the action necessary for success. Essentially they choose not to follow through.

They accept laziness and eek away at life enjoying Law & Order, Candy Crush and complaining about what is not right in life instead of taking action and fixing their own problems. They think that someone is magically going to come and bail them out.

Well here is the truth: that is not going to happen!

You will have to work hard for everything you truly want, otherwise you don’t want it bad enough. You will have to cut things out of your life that don’t need to suck up your time.

News flash- Successful people and not so successful people ..all have the same time in a day.

We all have 24 hours a day…7 days a week.

Successful people have managed to define their reason WHY, define a plan, and take action not dwelling on the potential failures that exist all around them. Successful people have learned to let a no be as important as a yes.

When you are on a mission your time needs to be viewed as precious. We all have the same 24 hours in a day, the question is where are you spending yours?

Here is the deal, success doesn’t come easy so don’t buy into the lie that people just get lucky and success falls in their lap.

I certainly wish it did, and if this were the case I want to go back to bed. Ha!

So get a quiet moment and figure out why you are in business, get a plan together and then ask yourself …do I want it bad enough?

What is bad enough!?

Do you want success more than you want your status quo?

Are you living the life you were created to live?

Are you doing the things you were created to do?

Are you giving in a way that fulfills?

Are you being all you you were created to be?

Simply put.. Are you living life to the fullest with no regret?

The definition of your success develops your why.

And if your why doesn’t make you cry it isn’t strong enough.

It has to burn at the core of you and have the potential to move mountains, not for your husband not for your kids, or your mom but for YOU!

Put a $ amount on it, put a title on it, or simply remove the chains of time that bind you.
