Working together as a couple is not easy much less when you are working from home together with a family.

Working from home together is like having your first baby…what a blessing that baby is to your relationship but it can also take a toll if you are not careful. Communication is vital.

Talk about what both of you want out of this business and what each other feels they can/or is willing to bring to the table.

  • What do you like best about this business?
  • Get in a quiet spot and find your passion.
  • What does He like best? Ask him.
  • What does SHE like best? Ask her.

It really is about working within your strengths. You must find your role in the business and what excites you and drives you the most.

Some “business savvy people” might tell you to work on your weakness to make them better, however I am in full belief that when you two are working this business together you should focus on your strengths and let the other one pick up on those weaknesses.

Perfect example…I am not a numbers person so when it comes to finances/bookkeeping HE is amazing. So I don’t work in that area of my life, I let him take over because that is a strength he naturally has.

As for myself, woman are going to trust me because I have been in the trenches as a mother, a wife, and a SAHM to boot.

He will never have that.

So naturally it is much easier for me to solve problems I have direct experience with. This is where my strength comes in.

I can relate, solve problems and lead people to making choices. He would not be able to relate on the level I can.

We work this business 110% together and always step in where needed even if it is not our strength. Having said that, we have found it best to work within our strengths and edify one another for success.

To each their own, we all are different and should celebrate those differences. This is what has worked for us!
