The Fortune Is In The Follow Up!

Do you follow up?

When promoting a business, a lot of owners might tell someone about it, maybe give them a website or ask them to look something over and then follow up once…if that.

Then you may “not want to bother them,” because you figure they will get back with you if they are interested.

WRONG!

People are busy, you’re lucky if they look at what you asked them to look at let alone take any action.

 

How WE know the fortune is in the follow up!

As we have built our multi-million dollar business, we follow up with prospects for weeks, months…sometimes even years before they make a decision.

We do it because we know the fortune is in the follow up and we have something really great that the prospect just might not be quite ready for.

So we consistently contact them until that person asks us to stop.

That’s what it takes to build this business.

If that sounds uncomfortable to you, you will have the biggest successes outside of your comfort zone, so run to it!

 

The fortune is in the follow up caveat

Some companies give you something tangible like a flyer to give, with those, it does put you in a position to cross your fingers and hope THEY follow up.

That is NOT ideal.

You want to be in control of the follow up.

Depending on what you’re promoting, if there is something like personal before and after pictures of yourself that you can send via text, that is by far the best way to give them information AND gives you a way to follow up.

For our business, we call it blitzing.

Do you see how natural that can be?

It’s all in how you position yourself.

When you’re compelling like that, they aren’t going to say no.

Once you text them, you have their phone number to follow up…again…again…and again.

I want the imprint of this to be in your mind, so I’m going to say it again… the fortune is in the follow up!

And when you have their phone number you have something that is basically connected to them.

It just doesn’t get much better than that.

But you’ve got to dial that number to get the business!
